Bill Grana brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience in technology, healthcare IT, and growth-stage companies to his role as CEO of HCTec. Since joining in 2017, he has led HCTec’s transformation into a leading private equity-backed healthcare IT staffing and managed services firm, driving strategic growth and operational excellence across the organization.
Bill’s leadership background includes serving as Chairman of the Board for Wealth Access and holding board positions at multiple healthcare technology companies, including Medical Informatics Engineering (acquired by Serent Capital in 2024) and Common Cents Systems (acquired by Roper Technologies in 2022).
His expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, strategic planning, and scaling technology organizations for sustainable growth. Bill earned his JD/MBA in Corporate Finance from Washington University in St. Louis and his B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.

As Chief Growth Officer at HCTec, Michelle Moran drives sales strategy, client relationships, and market expansion across the healthcare IT sector. Recognized by Mission Critical Magazine as one of the Top 25 Women in Technology, she leverages more than 30 years of sales and marketing leadership to position HCTec as a leading healthcare IT services provider.
Most recently, Michelle served as Senior Vice President of Sales, Product, and Marketing at Involta, where she led vertical industry sales channels (Finance, Manufacturing, and Healthcare) with significant focus on healthcare. During nearly a decade at Involta, she was instrumental in the company’s expansion into multiple new markets and positioned the organization for successful acquisition by private equity firm, Carlyle Group.
Michelle holds an undergraduate degree in Interpersonal and Public Communications, Computer Science, and Marketing from Bowling Green State University.

Chris Durham

Chris Durham leads HCTec’s Service Desk Operations with a focus on building high-performing teams, implementing Lean process improvements, and delivering exceptional customer service. His 25+ years of operations leadership span healthcare IT and technology environments, where he has consistently achieved best-in-class results in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Most recently, Chris served as Senior Director of Customer Support at MEDHOST, a Franklin, TN-based healthcare IT company, where he led multi-level support teams and drove operational excellence. Prior to MEDHOST, he spent 13 years at Dell Technologies in various operations leadership roles, including Contact Center Operations Manager and Production Control Manager.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Human Resources from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Bernard Rush

With over 20 years of EHR experience—including 15 years specializing in Epic—Bernard Rush oversees HCTec’s Application Support operations and has built a proven track record in strategic resource planning, high-performing team development, and delivering successful implementations, optimization projects, and managed services.
Prior to joining HCTec in 2016, Bernard served as Epic Client System Manager at Grady Health System for nearly a decade and as an independent Epic Application Consultant.
Bernard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University.
Dan O’Connor

As a registered nurse with an MBA and over 20 years of healthcare technology experience, Dan O’Connor combines clinical expertise with IT leadership to deliver solutions that improve patient safety, care quality, and client satisfaction at HCTec. His unique background bridges clinical workflows and technology strategy.
Prior to joining HCTec in 2019, Dan served as CIO at United Memorial Medical Center, where he led strategic planning and IT operations, and as Vice President of Client Relations at Stoltenberg Consulting, supporting over 100 healthcare organizations.
Dan holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester – Simon Business School, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from Alfred University, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Alfred State College.
Steven Norris

Steven Norris serves as Vice President of Technical Services at HCTec, where he leads the strategy, operations, and delivery of technical services for healthcare and enterprise clients. With more than 25 years of IT experience—including over 15 years in managed services—he brings deep expertise in aligning technology operations with business objectives, particularly in healthcare.
Steven specializes in designing and implementing secure, scalable IT infrastructures, with a strong background in disaster recovery, solution architecture, and managed services leadership. At HCTec, he oversees Technical Services operations with a focus on service excellence, customer experience, and operational efficiency, including leading initiatives such as HITRUST certification.
Known for his strategic and operational leadership, Steven builds high-performing teams and drives measurable outcomes. Prior to joining HCTec in 2021, he served as Executive Vice President of Technical Services and Partner at Talon Healthy IT Services, leading call center and managed IT service teams.
Diane Snyder

Diane Snyder heads HCTec’s Human Resources operations with expertise in strategic planning, talent management, and employee engagement. Since joining HCTec in 2014, she has built comprehensive HR programs that foster organizational effectiveness and support the company’s growth in healthcare IT staffing and managed services.
Diane’s HR leadership spans recruitment, business partnering, and HR project management across healthcare and technology sectors. Prior to HCTec, she held HR roles at Nixon Power Services and other organizations.
Diane holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Wright State University. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
Lei Zheng

Lei Zheng | Vice President, Finance & Accounting
Lei Zheng oversees all financial operations at HCTec, including planning, reporting, and day-to-day financial management. Since joining HCTec in 2019, she has progressed from Accounting Manager to Controller to her current role as Vice President, bringing expertise in GAAP compliance, SOX requirements, and strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth.
Prior to HCTec, Lei served as Senior Accountant at HCA Healthcare Physician Services Group and Senior GL Accountant at Amdocs, where she managed month-end closings, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal audit support.
Lei holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
