Dana Moore serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Denver. Previously, he was SVP and CIO at Centura Health. Moore has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare financial and IT management.
Debe Gash CIO, St. Luke’s | Kansas City, KS
Debe Gash is Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at St. Luke’s Health Systems, where she is responsible for developing and implementing Information Technology (IT) strategies for the health system; updating the necessary standards, infrastructure, and security policies; ensuring quality IT support for the health system; and providing guidance in cost effective clinical and business solutions. Debe is an active member of ACHE, CHIME, HIMSS, and ACMPE, and she holds the following certifications: CHCIO, FHIMSS, CMPE and CPHIMS.
Drexel DeFord CEO, Drexio, LLC | Seattle, WA
Drexel DeFord has accrued more than three decades of experience as a Chief Information Officer, with a career spanning the United States and the military. DeFord is the former CIO at Scripps Health, Seattle Children’s, Steward Healthcare, and within several departments of the U.S. Air Force. He is the Past-Chair of CHIME’s Board of Trustees, and he has served on the HIMSS National Board. Today, DeFord works with CI Security and consults with a multitude of enterprise healthcare organizations through his company, Drexio Digital Health.
Helen Thompson Interim CIO, Northern Light HealthFounder/CEO, The RockWood Group Inc. | Maine
Helen Thompson is the Founder and CEO of The RockWood Group, an executive consulting and recruiting firm. She has extensive experience leading healthcare information and clinical technology transformations to enable improved quality, safety and service to patients. Thompson has served as Chief Information Officer, Interim CIO and other executive IT roles for a number of health systems across the U.S., including Northern Light Health, Tuba City Regional Health System, WakeMed Health, NCH Healthcare System, Georgia Health Science and Heartland Health.
Keith Perry CIO, St. Jude’s Childrens | Memphis, TN
Keith Perry is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. He joined St. Jude from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where he served as Associate Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Officer. His career in information technology and systems applications spans more than 30 years.
Rick Skinner Retired/Former CIO, University of Virginia Healthsystem | Charlottesville, VA
Rick Skinner is a retired healthcare IT executive with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare information systems, including positions as Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer for health systems such as Locus Health, University of Virginia Health System, Cancer Care Ontario and Providence Health. He has also held consultant roles and served as project manager for the development and implementation of the Department of Defense’s global medical information system.
Rusty Yeager CIO, Encompass Health | Birmingham, AL
Rusty Yeager has more than 20 years of healthcare information technology experience and more than 10 years of increasing responsibilities in information technology leadership at Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth. Additionally, he served as a medical service corps officer specializing in healthcare information technology in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Yeager has been named as one of CIO magazine’s “Ones to Watch,” and Encompass Health’s Information Technology Group was recently named to the magazine’s “Top 100” list for the implementation of its Beacon business intelligence and reporting system. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including CHIME, and is a senior member of HIMSS.
